to support pump design, installation, and service businesses. The role is focused on meeting customer requirements for the
design, installation, and maintenance of sewage and surface water pumping equipment
across the United Kingdom. The role contributes to the
day-to-day operation of the business
and the development of sales strategies aimed at delivering
exceptional customer satisfaction, high-quality solutions, and sustained, profitable growth . The post holder is also required to assist the company in maintaining the
highest standards of Health & Safety and Quality , in line with current legislation and company policies. Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with management to assist in the
formulation, implementation, and execution of key business objectives .
Provide consistently high levels of
external sales support , responding effectively to customer requirements to ensure complete customer satisfaction and secure repeat business.
Manage customer accounts
within the assigned region to maximise long-term business opportunities and relationships.
Actively
grow the customer base
to maximise future opportunities, business growth, and profitability.
Identify and cultivate sales opportunities, generate genuine enquiries, follow up quotations, and
secure purchase or sub-contract orders
in line with agreed sales budgets and objectives.
Support sales activities relating to the
design, installation, and maintenance of pumping stations .
Provide accurate
sales forecasts and progress updates , including day-to-day information and periodic reports as required.
Use the companys
CRM system
to maintain accurate customer records, contact details, sales opportunities, forecasts, and financial data.
Use the companys
ERP system
to create new sites and leads and to support the circulation and storage of information for new and existing opportunities.
Actively develop and maintain the
reputation of the business as a market-leading enterprise .
Maintain a strong understanding of relevant
legislation, specifications, and industry guidelines
related to the companys operations.
Monitor
market size, drivers, competitors, and changing market conditions , supporting the development of strategies to increase business potential and mitigate risk.
Undertake any additional tasks required to support the
smooth operation and continued development of the business .

Technically competent, with expertise in
pumping station maintenance and adoptions , and the ability to prepare detailed technical proposals.
Strong product knowledge and understanding of the market.
Highly accurate and detail-oriented.
Reliable, with the ability to work under pressure and meet customer deadlines.
Capable of multi-tasking and accepting additional responsibilities as required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer and IT literate, with experience using CRM and ERP systems preferred.
Fully committed, with a strong work ethic and focus on achieving objectives
Full, clean UK driving licence.
