Midlands & West Permanent £35,000-£40,000 + Car Allowance Hybrid 3:2 West Midlands base location recommended Key Locations: Northampton, Cardiff, Gloucester, Oxford

Reporting to the HR Manager and working as part of a team of 7, you will support an engineering client group spread across a handful of sites. The role will see you operating in a generalist capacity, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the HR agenda whilst supporting the delivery of HR projects. You can expect to coach and support managers across ER, talent, wellbeing and engagement.

Planned projects as part of the HR strategy that you can expect to support will include developing a new performance process, rolling out a new management development programme, reviewing the benefits offer and development of new apprenticeship programmes.As you develop into the role, you can expect to take on more responsibility and take more of a lead role on projects.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience as an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor that enjoys and thrives working in a proactive manner, has strong prioritisation skills and is commercially aware. Up to date employment law knowledge and the ability to constructively challenge and influence are a must. CIPD would be advantageous. Given the nature of the role, you must be comfortable travelling 2/3 days a week

one day a week to Northampton and 1-2 days to other sites in the West (Cardiff and Lancaster furthest reaching from a Midlands base.
