Our client, an established and expanding refrigeration and air conditioning company seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their team.

You'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems across commercial, industrial, food production and clinical environments. Working with both cutting-edge technology and traditional hand tools, your expertise will directly support our client's customers by diagnosing complex system problems, performing scheduled maintenance and responding to service calls.

* On-call rota: 1 in 4 - £80 standby rate for on-call rota participation

Responsibilities:

* Diagnose and resolve refrigeration and air conditioning system faults using software, technology and hand tools

* Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on a variety of commercial and industrial systems

* Respond to service call requests within agreed response times

* Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work completed

* Keep all service tools, protective clothing and van equipment in good working condition

* Contribute to project work and support the on-call rota as required

Who They’re Looking For:

* Minimum five years' experience in refrigeration engineering

* Proven experience with coldstore and cold room systems (frozen and chilled)

* NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Refrigeration or equivalent

* F Gas Category 1 qualification

* Full UK driving licence

* Eligible to live and work in the UK
