Job Description
Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be partnering with a successful food manufacturing business in the Hull area to recruit a Raw Material Planner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced production environment where planning accuracy and proactive problem solving are essential to keeping operations running smoothly.\n\n As Raw Material Planner, you will work closely with production, procurement and supply chain teams to ensure raw materials are available when needed. The role requires someone who can balance system planning through SAP with practical, hands on decision making, particularly when plans change or production priorities shift.\n\n The Opportunity:\n \nAs a Raw Material Planner you’ll play a key role in:\n \nManaging raw material planning through SAP to support production schedules and demand changes\n \nMonitoring stock levels and material availability to ensure continuity of supply\n Responding quickly to production changes and resolving material shortages or supply issues\n \nManaging a high volume of raw material SKUs, ensuring accurate planning and availability to support a fast paced production schedule\n\nCarrying out partial manual planning where system plans require adjustment or intervention\n\nCoordinating materials with varying supplier lead times, proactively adjusting plans to maintain continuity of supply and minimise disruption to production\n \nCollaborating with supply chain, procurement and production teams to maintain an efficient flow of materials\n\nAbout You:\n \nWe’re looking for someone who can bring:\n \nPrevious experience in a materials planning, forecasting and demand planning or supply chain role within manufacturing\n \nExperience using SAP or a similar ERP system for planning activities\n \nThe ability to manage both system driven and manual planning processes\n Strong problem solving skills and the confidence to make decisions in a fast paced environment\n \nA calm and organised approach when working under pressure\n Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams\n \nThe Benefits and Package:\n \nIn return, you’ll enjoy:\n \nSalary of £32,000 \n\nThe opportunity to develop your career as a Raw Material Planner within a supportive manufacturing environment\n \nExposure to a fast paced food production operation where your decisions have real impact\n \nA collaborative culture where problem solving and teamwork are valued\n \nHow to Apply:\n \nThis exciting Raw Material Planner opportunity is being managed by Consortium Professional Recruitment, a trusted recruitment partner.
