Part time working also available-The Equipment Design Authority is responsible for ensuring the technical development of certification sign-off and in-service support on two major programmes,Feeding into the Army & Navy.By building on and maintaining a complex structure of functional and physical design, the Equipment Design Authority will ensure every aspect of the product can be verified, validated and accepted into the System capability by our customers. In this role, the Equipment Design Authority will be expected to have a high level of engagement across a variety of technical aspects, including system design, software engineering, electronics and mechanical engineering, in-service reliability and support, safety, cybersecurity and other disciplines. In addition, the Equipment Design Authority will need to ensure the hardware and software design continues to evolve in order to meet the demand of the overall system capability expected by our customers.
