Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor


We're a growing commercial consultancy with a big project portfolio — and we're looking for talented Quantity Surveyors to grow with us. If you're experienced in infrastructure and want to do genuinely interesting work without getting lost in a huge organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be getting stuck into high-value civils, M&E, and high-voltage transmission projects across the UK, bringing your commercial expertise to schemes that really matter — both to our clients and to the country.


What you'll be doing

  • Taking the lead on cost planning, benchmarking, and lifecycle cost analysis
  • Administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including compensation events, early warnings, and change control
  • Managing valuations, interim applications, and final accounts
  • Keeping a close eye on cost performance, risk, and governance
  • Acting as a trusted commercial advisor to project teams
  • Helping to shape procurement and contract strategy
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team — we take development seriously here
  • Playing an active part in how we improve the way we work as a team


What we're looking for

  • Solid experience in infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineering
  • Good working knowledge of NEC contracts and strong commercial instincts
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • MRICS status (or working towards it) is a plus, but not a dealbreaker
  • Someone who communicates well and builds good relationships with clients and contractors alike
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and sites
