Our client, a leading engineering and construction specialist, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team working on a major long-term water infrastructure contract in North Wales.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-profile programme delivering essential water and wastewater projects, contributing to critical infrastructure improvements across the region.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of projects from inception through to completion. You'll work closely with operational teams to ensure costs are controlled, value is maximised, and contractual obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all commercial aspects of assigned projects Preparing and reviewing cost forecasts, budgets, and reports Administering NEC contracts (or similar) Valuing completed work and arranging payments Identifying and managing risks and opportunities Supporting procurement and subcontract management Ensuring compliance with company procedures and client requirements
About You
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the water or utilities sector Strong understanding of NEC contracts Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline Full UK driving licence
