Quantity Surveyor

Overview Due to our continued growth and success delivering high-quality developments across Greater Manchester & the North-West, and with a healthy pipeline for the future, Oak Construction Projects is looking to recruit a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join the small but growing commercial team within our main contracting businesses. This is an exciting opportunity to join a relatively new business in a period of growth, and the successful candidate will get exposed to things that often being part of a larger business doesn’t involve.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing project costs, ensuring that financial resources are allocated efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.

This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes and cost control methodologies, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Duties include: Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, plant, and overheads. Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures to ensure budgets are adhered to. Administer change management and change controls on projects.
