Quantity Surveyor Uxbridge/Hillingdon Area £55,000 - £65,000 per annum DOE
Our client, a well-established subcontractor based near Uxbridge, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated QS to join a reputable business with a strong pipeline of work and a supportive, professional environment.
The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with typically 2–3 days in the office and 2–3 days on site / remote, depending on business needs.
Key responsibilities:
* Managing costs across subcontract packages and projects
* Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Supporting procurement and subcontractor management
* Monitoring project budgets and commercial performance
* Working closely with operational teams to ensure commercial success
* Producing accurate reporting and cost forecasts
Ideal candidate:
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* Experience working for a subcontractor is preferred
* Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
* Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000, depending on experience
