Schemes range up to £15 million, covering commercial, residential, public sector, and mixed-use developments.\n\nThis role offers exposure to varied, challenging projects and the opportunity to develop within a supportive, progressive commercial team.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Manage commercial aspects of projects from initial tender through to final account\n\n * \n\n Prepare and analyse cost plans, bills of quantities, valuations, and variations\n\n * \n\n Procure subcontractors and negotiate packages\n\n * \n\n Monitor project costs, forecasts, and financial reporting\n\n * \n\n Work closely with project teams to ensure cost control and value engineering\n\n * \n\n Attend client and progress meetings, providing clear commercial updates\n\n * \n\n Support risk management, contractual compliance, and dispute resolution where required\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submission of all commercial documentation\n\nAbout You\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector\n\n * \n\n Background working on new build and/or refurbishment projects up to £15m\n\n * \n\n Strong commercial acumen with sound understanding of JCT contracts\n\n * \n\n Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage multiple live projects and meet deadlines\n\n * \n\n Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (preferred but not essential)\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence required\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary and benefits package\n\n * \n\n Car or car allowance\n\n * \n\n Opportunities for progression within a growing contractor\n\n * \n\n A varied project pipeline across multiple sectors
