Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity? Our client are a Lareg Civil Engineering Contractor working on a heavy civils project in Norwich. They are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor, on a freelance basis, to help bolster their team. Role and responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit Applications for Payment. - Identify, communicate, and evaluate changes in scope or requirements. - Oversee cost management and financial aspects of key projects. - Provide specialist guidance on contractual claims and final account settlements. - Undertake reviews of new awards and contracts. - Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- A degree qualification in civil engineering or quantity surveying - Proven experience in quantity surveying - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities - Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams) If this sounds like something of interest to you apply with a copy of your CV ASAP!
