Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor

Residential New Build & Conversion Project (Near Portsmouth, Hampshire) A respected regional developer is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a mixed residential new build and conversion project near Portsmouth, Hampshire. This is a 15-month direct contract with the client, offering a key commercial role on a high-quality scheme. The Role Youll be responsible for: Managing commercial duties from procurement through to final accounts

Preparing and reviewing cost plans, valuations, and financial reports

Procuring subcontractors and managing ongoing commercial relationships

Monitoring project costs, variations, and contractual compliance

Working closely with the Site and Project Management teams to ensure financial control

Working within a team of Surveyors and reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor based on site

Supporting the client with accurate forecasting and cost-to-complete analysis

About You Youll excel in this role if you: Have proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on residential projects

Understand the commercial demands of both new build and conversion schemes

Are confident managing procurement, cost control, and contract administration

Bring strong analytical skills and a proactive, detail-driven approach

Communicate clearly and build strong working relationships with project teams and subcontractors

Package & Contract 15-month direct contract with the client

Salary: £60,000

£70,000, depending on experience
