We are seeking

Quantity Surveyors / Cost Managers

to support our clients pivotal energy projects. This role is instrumental in delivering end-to-end commercial and cost control services for transformational projects that support the UK's energy transition strategy. Projects can be either Nuclear, Carbon, Renewable Energy, Power, Net Zero or Transmission & Distribution. All positions are working on a hybrid basis (3 days a week client site). Key Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle cost management across project lifecycles—from tendering and procurement through to contract negotiation, cost control, and final account settlement.

Administer NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 preferred), overseeing valuations, change control, and cost variance coordination.

Provide robust forecasting, monitoring, and reporting of cost performance; ensure accurate and timely financial insights.

Drive value engineering and cost optimisation strategies in alignment with project and client needs.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with client teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Mentor and guide junior cost professionals, while contributing to continuous improvement of cost management practices.

What You'll Bring

Extensive experience in cost management or quantity surveying within energy, renewables, hydrogen, carbon capture, or natural resources sectors.

Degree or HNC qualification in Quantity Surveying or a closely related discipline.

Strong commercial and contract management skills, especially within NEC frameworks.

Track record in consultancy environments or client-facing roles, capable of steering project success.

Self-motivated, proactive, and adept at managing multiple stakeholders in dynamic delivery settings.
