Our client is a leading contractor in the delivery of high performance spaces in the medical sector, and are looking for a Quantity surveyor to joiner their successful team.

With a full order book, and a history going back over 50 years, this business is successful, resilient and very stable Open to candidates at any level from Intermediate through to Senior, and not necessarily needing healthcare sector experience ( although that could be advantageous) this is an opportunity to join a stable business in a stable niche market Responsibilities/Requirements Refurb / new build / fit out works background Able to commercially manage several projects at once taking full financial responsibility for the projects allocated. Negotiate and procure sub-contract works and cost manage through to final account including agreeing variations to the works package. Preparing and submitting project valuations and final accounts to the Clients, including pricing and agreeing variations etc. Monthly management cost reporting to Surveying Director (CVRs, profit forecasting, cash flow, cost complete, buy down reports) Work on projects that vary in value from £50k to £8m but average value would be around £500k to £2m range. Have knowledge and experience of the implementation of JCT Contracts in particular Design and Build Contract. Able to work on their own initiative and have good commercial awareness. Also able to work within a small team usually alongside a Contracts Manager and Site Manager. Management of junior staff members if allocated to assist. I. xehkeey T.
