A leading specialist civil engineering contractor is seeking an ambitiousQuantity Surveyorto join their growing commercial team. The business operates across major UK infrastructure schemes, delivering technically complex projects within therail, geotechnical, and wider civil engineeringsectors.

The Role:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of civil and rail projects across the UK. Youll work closely with project teams to ensure strong financial performance, accuracy in cost management, and compliance with contract frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial and contractual elements of projects from tender to final account.
  • Work underNEC or JCTforms of contract.
  • Support the development and improvement of internal commercial processes.
  • Prepare valuations, variations, cost forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Assist with estimating duties where required.

About You:

  • Background incivil engineering, ideally with exposure torailorgeotechnicalprojects (beneficial but not essential).
  • Experience withNEC or JCTcontracts.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and improve processes.
  • Experience inestimatingor cost planning is advantageous.
