A client of mine is working with a major Joint Venture in the Civil Engineering sector, delivering a high-profile infrastructure project in North West London. This is a long-term contract role, offering a hybrid working model with 4 days on-site and 1 day working from home.\n\nKey Details:\n\nDay Rate: £500 - £600 (Inside IR35)\n\nLocation: North West London (Site-based)\n\nWorking Pattern: 4 days on-site, 1 day WFH\n\nSector: Civil Engineering\n\nRequirements:\n\nWe are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with strong, up-to-date Contractor-side experience and a solid understanding of NEC forms of contract.
You will be responsible for managing subcontractors and providing robust commercial support to the project team.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDrafting and issuing compensation event (CE) notices and instructions\n\nManaging and assessing Applications for Payment (AFPs)\n\nRegular reporting of Final Account positions\n\nSubcontract management - procurement, administration, and close-out\n\nInterfacing with project teams to ensure commercial governance\n\nEssential Experience:\n\nStrong knowledge and application of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts\n\nHands-on experience in Civils or Building projects\n\nCurrently or recently working Contractor-side\n\nDemonstrable track record of subcontract management and change control\n\nAbility to work effectively with delivery teams, planners, and commercial leads\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-structured project with a supportive team, offering flexibility and a competitive rate.\n\n Interested?
