This is a permanent opportunity within a high-profile project environment, offering excellent exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects.
You will be responsible for supporting the commercial administration, reporting, and performance of the project while working closely with operational and engineering teams.
Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Responsibilities
Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment Prepare and negotiate subcontract documentation, including terms, pricing, and schedules Manage subcontract packages, including interim valuations and change control Issue contractual notices to clients and subcontractors as required Manage contract changes, including Compensation Events and monthly applications Collaborate with operational and engineering teams to maintain accurate site records Produce monthly commercial reports, Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR), and cost plans Attend progress, commercial, and risk reduction meetings Support estimating and bid teams with contractual and commercial input
Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Requirements
Strong understanding of standard forms of contract (NEC preferred) Strong experience in change management (essential) Experience within construction or infrastructure commercial environments Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, and commercial systems (e.g. CEMAR, Oracle) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction processes Effective time management and organisational skills Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related discipline Professional membership (MCIOB / MRICS) desirable or working towards Valid CSCS card
