Quantity Surveyor

to join a well-established and high-performing team delivering

planned maintenance and refurbishment contracts within social housing .

This role is ideal for a

commercially focused Quantity Surveyor

with experience across

painting, planned maintenance, cyclical works or property services , looking to take ownership of contracts and drive financial performance.

Youll be joining a busy branch with a strong pipeline of secured work, offering stability, autonomy and genuine progression. Location

Based in Orpingtonwith project coverage across

South London, Kent and Sussex.

The Role

As

Quantity Surveyor , you will take full responsibility for the

commercial management of planned maintenance and refurbishment contracts , ensuring cost control, margin protection and accurate financial reporting throughout the lifecycle of each project. This is a hands-on commercial role with regular site engagement, but with a clear focus on

cost, value and contract performance .

Key Responsibilities

Full

commercial ownership

of maintenance and refurbishment contracts Managing

CVRs, cost reporting and forecasting Preparing and submitting

applications for payment and valuations Pricing, managing and agreeing

variations Managing

final accounts

through to completion Working with

Schedule of Rates (SOR) / NHF frameworks Procuring and commercially managing

subcontractors and suppliers Monitoring

cost, value, margin and cash flow

across contracts Supporting operational teams with

commercial insight and financial control Building strong relationships with

clients and stakeholders What Were Looking For Proven experience as a

Quantity Surveyor

within:

Social housing Planned maintenance Refurbishment Painting or cyclical works Strong understanding of: CVRs, valuations, variations and final accounts Cost control and forecasting SOR / NHF frameworks Important to have:

Experience managing

subcontractors and commercial performance Confident working across both

site and office environments Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
