Job Description
Quantity Surveyor Rail\n\nManchester\n\n11 -month contract\n\n£400- £450 per day (Outside of IR35)\n\nOur client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Rail Infrastructure team based in Manchester, working on a range of high-profile and technically complex rail projects.\n\nThis is a long-term contract opportunity where you will provide a dedicated pre- and post-contract commercial management service, acting as the primary commercial interface with customers, stakeholders, and delivery teams across your assigned projects.\n\nQualifications & Background\n\n * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Rail\n\n * Experience within Rail, Engineering, Defence, or similar construction sectors \n\n * HND / Degree qualified or equivalent (essential)\n\n * Working towards or holding professional membership (RICS, CICES)\n\n * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a contractor-side project environment\n\n * Strong contractual knowledge and understanding\n\n * Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial reporting software\n\nFor a confidential chat about the role or take home rate, please call (0) (phone number removed) or email m e l l I s s a . v o o n g @ v i t a l . c o m\n\nThe partnering concept promoted by Vital means that we work together with candidates and clients\n\nto achieve your career and recruitment objectives.
