A well-established civil engineering contractor based in Aberdeenshire requires a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This organisation has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the North-East of Scotland. This contractor undertakes a diverse range of projects, from infrastructure and earthworks to plot works and utilities, with values ranging from minor works to multi-million-pound schemes. Their collaborative approach and commitment to excellence have secured repeat business and long-term client relationships. As QS your responsibilities will include managing project finances and contractual obligations, including preparing and presenting monthly cost/value reports, submitting payment applications, and producing cashflow forecasts. You will oversee subcontractor accounts, ensure timely certification of payments, and maintain strong communication with clients and project teams. Additionally, you’ll identify and manage contractual risks and opportunities while ensuring consistent application of company systems and standards.
