Quality Manager
7 Days Old
A respected and growing manufacturer within the UK rail supply chain is seeking a Quality Engineer who is ready to take the next step into Quality Management. With increasing demand and rising quotation volumes, this is a rare opportunity to move into a role where you can genuinely influence performance, culture, and long‑term improvement.
This organisation is looking for someone who can own quality, shape direction, and drive change. If you’re a capable Quality Engineer who’s been operating at a higher level, influencing decisions, and pushing improvements, this is your chance to formalise that progression into management.
The Opportunity
The business is transitioning from a reactive approach to a preventative, performance‑driven culture — and you’ll be at the heart of that shift.
This role is ideal for someone who has already been acting as the “go‑to” quality person, supporting audits, leading investigations, and influencing teams, but hasn’t yet been given the title or full remit of a manager.
Key Objectives
Navigating contract changes
Driving performance improvements
Delivering results through influence rather than instruction
Promoting and embedding cultural change
About You
You’ll bring both technical expertise and ambition, thriving in a regulated engineering environment and eager to grow with the business. You’ll be confident enough to challenge, influence, and lead — even if this is your first formal management role.
