Quality ManagerUp to £50,000 DOEYolk Recruitment is supporting our client in the search for a Quality Manager to lead and develop the quality function within a well-established manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Quality Manager or a Senior Quality Engineer ready to step up into a leadership role, offering ownership of quality systems, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.You will play a key role in shaping and embedding a strong quality culture across the business, ensuring robust processes are in place to meet both customer and regulatory requirements. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll drive improvements across operations, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction, while leading a capable team and developing future talent within the function.Key responsibilities:Lead, develop, and manage the Quality and Laboratory teams, driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvementOwn and maintain the Quality Management System ensuring effective implementation across the businessDrive APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, and SQA processes to ensure robust product and process qualityLead internal and external audit programmes, including supplier audits and customer-facing quality reviewsManage customer quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution and strong relationship managementOversee supplier quality performance, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actionsFacilitate cross-functional corrective action teams to eliminate non-conformities and prevent recurrenceMaintain calibration and gauge control systemsSupport wider business objectives and continuous improvement initiativesDeputise for senior technical leadership when requiredThis is what you'll need:Experience working within a Quality function in a manufacturing environmentExperience supporting supplier quality and/or customer quality processesInternal or external auditing experience (or willingness to develop)And this is what you'll get:Competitive salaryLife assuranceLong service awardsJBRP1_UKTJ
