Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Near Great Chesterford, Essex
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday- plus overtime
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Solution 47 Recruitment are working in partnership with our established engineering client located near Great Chesterford. They are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and experience in quality inspection or a similar engineering role.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and measure components and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications

*

Use a variety of hand-held measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

*

Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions

*

Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation

*

Report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis

*

Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain high standards of quality

Candidate Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a Quality Inspection or similar role within an engineering or manufacturing environment

*

Confident using measuring equipment and tools

*

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

*

Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to work

*

Good communication skills and a proactive attitude

*

Basic computer literacy
