Quality Inspector / Goods Inwards Inspector / Quality technician / CMM Inspector / CMM Programmer / CMM Operator required to join a leading manufacturer at their Northampton facility.
The Quality Inspector / Goods Inwards Inspector / Quality Technician / CMM Inspector will be responsible for the approval, testing, and inspection of materials, components & assemblies using metrology, measuring and testing equipment (including FARO arms and CMMs) working to ISO9001 & ISO10204.
The successful Inspector / Goods Inwards Inspector / CMM Inspector must have experience carrying out materials or component inspection & testing using metrology equipment (including CMMs & Faro arms (or other portable measuring arms).
Package £36,500 24 days + Bank Holidays Pension Scheme - 5%
Role Inspect parts to ensure compliance with approved engineering drawings, including materials, components & assemblies Using CMMs and portable measuring arms (FARO) Carry out material/product tests compared to the drawing specifications Use handheld metrology & inspection tools including Verniers, micrometers, surface testers, shadowgraphs and slip gauges Use of portable measuring arms, (Faro / Romer arms), CMMs or similar Ensure all deliveries are approved and any issues are raised Read engineering drawings Reading / interpreting and analysing material ce...
