About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our clients team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring their systems meet the highest quality standards expected by their customers.
You will be responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products throughout the production process, identifying defects or deviations, and ensuring full compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, effective prioritisation, punctuality, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Measurement and Equipment Management
*
Perform precise measurements using callipers, FARO Arm, micrometres, and plug gauges
*
Manage the calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
Testing and Inspection
*
Conduct various tests, including crack testing and other quality-related inspections, to verify product integrity
*
Perform weld section testing and analyse results to support quality assurance
*
Manage part inspection processes (incoming and outgoing goods, etc.) and stock sorting to maintain quality standards
*
Assist with sample approvals (first, mid, last off, or frequency depending on conditions) to validate production
*
Use applications such as Safety Culture to accurately capture and document all inspection details
Process and Quality Documentation
*
Update and prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) when required to standardise production processes
*
Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (IATF16949 / ISO9001 / ISO14001, etc.) and support adherence to quality standards
Quality and Issue Management
*
Support the management of all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team, including internal, supplier, customer, and warranty concerns
*
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues efficiently and minimise production disruption
*
Immediately notify relevant stakeholders of any unacceptable goods or processes during manufacturing
Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance
*
Adhere to and promote Health, Safety, and Environmental policies to maintain a safe working environment
Continuous Improvement and Industry Awareness
*
Stay up to date with current and emerging trends in manufacturing and engineering that may impact product quality
System and Inventory Management
*
Use Factory Master to release and reject parts as required, ensuring inventory accuracy and quality compliance
