QualityInspector Responsible for performing and improving quality inspection processes of precision components. Days based position - rotating mornings / afternoons shifts preferably, but possible scope for regular days. CMM experience is preferred, but opportunities for training on wider metrology / CMM machinery can be offered for the right individual. Overtime available at x1.33 hourly rate. Salary:
c£40,000 to£45,000 per annum as a guide. Additional bonus too. Training can be provided in certain areas for the right person. We do need someone from a Mechanical / Precision Engineering Inspection background due to the nature of components manufactured within the business. Proven CMM programming (MCOSMOS is used) experience is preffered, but general knowledge of CMM inspection could also be considered. QualityInspectorActivities & Responsibilities: Perform visual, dimensional inspection of machined parts to drawings and specifications. Inspections to be carried out using manual equipment such as Vernier, micrometer etc. CMM Programming (MCOSMOS) / operation would be an advantage if experienced. Carry out in process and final inspection. Maintain inspection documents and create NCRs. Required Skills & Experience asQualityInspector: ProvenqualityInspection experience within an engineering environment. Flexible to work the rotating day shift pattern. The afternoon shift only runs Monday - Thursday (Fridays off!). CMM experience is an advantage, but not essential. Good manual dexterity, documentation skills and all round team player to ensure high quality standards are maintained.
