Quality Inspector A well-established and respected precision engineering company is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join its team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a key position working alongside the Quality Manager, focused on maintaining and improving quality standards across the business. The company specialises in the manufacture of low-volume, high-precision components for industries including aerospace, oil & gas, and defence. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of components using micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, height gauges and other precision tools. * Ensure components meet tight tolerances and comply with customer specifications. * Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications, understanding all relevant symbols and tolerances. * Carry out first-off, in-process, final, and goods-in inspections. * Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure full product and process traceability. * Quarantine and report non-conforming products and contribute to root cause investigations. * Raise and manage concession requests and non-conformance reports. * Support the completion of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs). * Prepare and ...
