JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Quality Inspector. As a Quality Inspector you will play a key part in ensuring components meet specification through accurate inspection, measurement, and quality assurance checks.
Working within a modern engineering environment, the role involves inspecting machined and fabricated parts, supporting first-off, stage and final inspections, and contributing to continuous improvement activities.
This Quality Inspector position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, an understanding of AS9100 requirements, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T, ensuring high-quality production across the organisation.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Quality Inspector include:
First-Off Inspection:
Checking initial components for conformity
Stage Inspection:
Inspecting one-off and batched components during production
Final Inspection:
Completing dimensional and visual checks on finished parts and assemblies
Data Recording:
Documenting inspection results, minor rework and internal NCRs
Use Of CMM:
Operating CMM equipment to verify dimensional accuracy
Collaboration:
Working with Operations to reduce internal and external non-conformities
Housekeeping:
Maintaining general housekeeping and supporting 6S activities
Event Participation:
Attending internal and external company events
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
Previous experience in engineering and manufacturing under AS9100 requirements
Strong IT skills
Experience with engineering drawings and GD&T
Experience operating CMM equipment (PC-Dmis and Keyence XM Series)
A background in fabrication, welding and CNC production environments
Experience collecting and presenting data for First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102
DESIRABLE
Experience working to CAA Part 21 (G)
Experience with live or offline CMM programming
Proven experience compiling First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102
Ability to identify root causes of dimensional issues and implement corrective actions
Experience supporting investigations into non-conformances and developing preventive actions
Internal auditing experience
