Quality Improvement Manager

Quality Improvement Manager , you will play a key role in shaping and strengthening quality across both our manufacturing facilities in North Devon. You will lead quality assurance and quality control activities, helping ensure products consistently meet customer requirements, regulatory obligations, and internal quality standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement, support compliance with recognised standards such as ISO and BRC, and influence a positive, site-wide culture of quality and accountability. What You'll Be Responsible For
Quality Management & Control Develop, implement, and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, BRC Packaging, or other relevant standards.
Monitor quality performance and support teams in achieving consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Customer & Supplier Collaboration Act as a key contact for customer quality enquiries, complaints, and audits, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
Work collaboratively with suppliers to address quality issues and support improvement initiatives.
Training & Development Provide guidance and training to support effective quality inspection and assurance activities.
Encourage quality awareness and continuous improvement across all departments.
Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and well-structured quality documentation, including certificates of conformity and test records.
Support new product introductions through structured quality planning and risk assessment.
Continuous Improvement Lead and support initiatives to reduce waste, improve process capability, and enhance product consistency.
Use data and root-cause analysis to identify opportunities for sustainable improvement.
