Job Title: Quality Engineer Salary: £33,000 - £37,000 Job Type: Full-Time Our client is a growing electronics manufacturing and design business, who have reached a critical stage in their growth where we need a quality engineer to manage the documentation and inspection processes for the products they make. The ideal candidate shall have an engineering background from a quality perspective with an attention to detail type attitude. Main Responsibilities: Document and maintain work instructions to ensure assembly staff can build any of our products with minimal supervision. Introduce checking and testing procedures for inspections at all stages of manufacture, working with engineering to develop test rigs. Compile statistics to demonstrate areas that require fixes and also report improvements metrics. Maintain the ISO 9001 documentation and work closely with external auditors and consultants to ensure compliance with international standards. Work closely with engineering and manufacturing to ensure best assembly procedures are developed. Visual inspections of finished products prior to release.
