*About the Role* We are seeking an experienced Quality Conformance Engineer to take responsibility for Quality Conformance deliverables in relation to the SA Rate 75 West Factory development project, for both the facility and the operational readiness. This role offers the opportunity to build on previous skills and experience within project management and APQP applications [including FMEA and PPV (inclusive of Control Plan, IPQ and FIM)]. A key part of this role is to ensure priority is given to POA (Production Organisation Approval) topics and ensure a high level of product safety is incorporated into this industrial development project from the very start. The candidate will also ensure Quality input into MFT, planning and key stakeholder reviews.
*How you will contribute to the Team.*
* Support and facilitate Failure Modes and effects analysis (FMEA) for Design and Process topics.
* Support / lead any necessary Quality investigations arising from FMEA activities.
* Create and update Control plans (CPs) for the project.
* Support planning and lead preparation and execution IPQ (Industrial Process Qualification) assessments on new industrial lines whilst working towards 'IPQ validator' status.
* Support planning and lead preparation and execution FIM (First Item Measurement) for the production line on 1st 'Serial' MSN.
* Support PPV (Production Process Verification) leader in attaining associated evidence/documentation to ensure full PPV validation.
* Carry out APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities whilst working towards APQP Champion Certification.
* Support Quality deliverables in project IDP (Industrial Development Plan).
* Support Non-Conformance Convergence plans for implementation of this project and subsequent.
* Support any internal / external audits where required (reference PPV, IPQ etc.
*About You*
* Educated to degree level.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality related roles, preferably in an aviation or manufacturing environment.
* In depth knowledge of PPV (incl Control Plan, FMEA and FIM) , APQP and IPQ with the ability to apply all of these standards with confidence.
* Working towards APQP champion status
* IPQ Assessor working towards IPQ validator
* Working towards the ability to certify First Item Measurement Reports
* Analytical and problem-solving skills (PPS etc.)
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Conversant with google suite / associated tools.
