Job Description
QUALITY CONFORMANCE & LINESIDE ENGINEER
New contract opportunity available in Broughton for a Quality Conformance Engineer to support the quality industrialization of Aircraft modifications
On-site in Broughton
£31.90ph via Umbrella
35-hour week over 4.5 days
Potential for a Double Day Shift pattern in the future (includes a 20% increase)
Initial contract until December 2026
BPSS clearance required
WHAT WILL THE QUALITY CONFORMANCE & LINESIDE ENGINEER ENGINEER BE DOING?
The main responsibility will be to drive the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting the measurement standards and facilitating improvements to increase performance, reliability and repeatability of processes. Other roles include:
Deploying APQP and Quality Standards
Supporting & Facilitating Failure Mode & Effect Analysis
Creating & updating Control Plans to incorporate modifications as required
Leading cost of non-quality forecasting
Providing lineside support during start of production phases
WE NEED THE QUALITY CONFORMANCE & LINESIDE ENGINEER TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…
A sound understanding of aircraft manufacturing and process improvements
Experience looking at preventative and quality methods
Experience looking at modifications on the aircraft
Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, CP and PPV methods
