Quality/ Calibration engineer required to work for a world leading manufacturing business based in Aldershot. We are looking for an individual who has the knowledge and experience of Quality calibration machinery and equipment. This role will look after all of the internal and external calibrated equipment on site, you will be required to be hands on and conduct some of the calibration however the majority of the role will be liaising with the suppliers and manufacturers of the equipment to come to site and do the calibration.
You will provide leadership and be responsible for day-to-day management and implementation of Calibrated Equipment and it's System in line with key Aerospace requirements, focusing around EN_9100 and traceability to National & International Standards..
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Calibrated Equipment business wide (managing Internal and External Calibration requirements).
Maintain QMS requirements in line with ongoing standard requirements/expectations (AS9100 and Customer Flow Down Requirements).
Prepare and organise internal audits, including NCR closure.
Assist Customer requirements with Annual Audit Requirements.
Processing supplier/customer returns for non-conforming supplied items.
Promote performance improvement activities and quality assurance programs throughout the company.
Identifying and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
Carry out problem solving activities within production.
Identify and investigate trends from internal failure modes.
Ensure QA activities and priorities are fulfilled with the aim of achieving on time delivery (both internally and externally) of product.
Interact and communicate with all other team members to ensure a professional and consistent environment is developed, maintained, and enhanced.Skills and Qualifications/experience:
Calibration Experience (Physical experience and understanding)
Good understanding of EN_9100 and its requirements (3 years minimum).
Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Ability to work under pressure.
Able to work independently and in a team environment.
