Quality Auditor Location: Southall, Middlesex Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pmOur client, a well-established food manufacturing business is currently looking to recruit two experienced Quality Auditors to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated quality professional to play a key role in maintaining high food safety and quality standards within a fast-paced production environment.Reporting to the Quality Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are consistently met in line with company procedures and current legislation.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure our client's food safety and quality objectives are consistently achievedCover all production areas (Low Risk / High Care) in line with the rotaReview out of specification results and implement corrective actions where requiredInvestigate customer complaints and support resolution processesMaintain Work in Progress (WIP) raw material and finished product specificationsEnsure GMP standards are maintained across all departmentsEnsure compliance with current legislation systems and company proceduresAudit production paperwork daily in accordance with BRC and customer requirementsVerify production documentation daily and carry out traceability exercises when requiredSupport implementation of operational changes in line with technical guidanceTake corrective action for non-conformances in line with established systems and proceduresProvide training to operational staff when requiredSupport new product development activities including sample preparation production trials DAF plant monitoring and taste panels where requiredCarry out any other reasonable duties requested by the Head of Technical to support the smooth running of the department and businessKnowledge and SkillsPrevious experience as an Internal Auditor within a food manufacturing environmentExperience conducting internal customer and GMP auditsExposure to high risk / high care food production environments is advantageousStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality and complianceFlexible and willing to support the wider business when requiredHACCP Level 2 or Level 3 certificationIf you are an experienced Quality professional looking for your next opportunity within a growing food manufacturing environment please apply below.JBRP1_UKTJ
