Location: Urchfont, Wiltshire (SN10)
Travel: Working within approximately 25 miles of base (Bath, Swindon, Chipping Sodbury area)
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum plus overtime
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Vehicle: Company van provided, taken home daily
Tools: Power tools and test equipment supplied; candidate supplies own hand tools
Probation: 3 months
Pension: Workplace pension included
The Role
As a Qualified Electrician you will be based out of Urchfont but working on different job sites daily across Wiltshire and surrounding areas. You will operate largely independently, managing your own workload and delivering quality results without the need for close supervision. You will will travel direct to site collecting materials form suppliers as required, working either solo or as part of a small team depending on the job.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding across domestic, commercial and agricultural sites
Working independently and as part of a small team
Diagnosing faults and delivering safe, compliant solutions
Maintaining accurate job records and adhering to safety and regulatory standards
Representing the company professionally when dealing with clients on site
Contributing to business improvement as the company grows
What We Are Looking For
Essential
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
Demonstrated ability to work independently following completion of apprenticeship
Full, clean UK driving licence
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Good communication and a professional approach xehkeey with clients
Own hand tools and personal PPE
Desirable (Not Essential)
ECS or CSCS card (Gold Card preferred)
Inspection and Testing qualification (City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
Experience across domestic, commercial and agricultural sites
Familiarity with single and three-phase systems
