About the Role
The role is within our Single Point of Access (SPA) team, providing brief assessments and evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and families primarily via virtual platforms like MS Teams and telephone. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, outcome-focused interventions for children experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, and behavioral issues.
There are two full-time positions and one part-time position (18.5 hours/week). The role is hybrid, based partly at our office and partly remote.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- An undergraduate degree in Psychology or related field, or successful completion of the Certificate in Children’s Wellbeing Practice (CWP), with post-qualification experience as a CWP. Qualification for PWP or equivalent will also be considered.
- Experience working with children, young people, and their families in educational and health settings with mild to moderate mental health issues.
- A strong understanding of working with children and young people with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.
- The ability to assess risk appropriately, record and communicate findings, and take suitable actions to mitigate risks.
