Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, including document control, version management, and adherence to change procedures.

• Conduct GMP, GHP, CCP competency, and internal audits, ensuring findings are reported and corrective actions are implemented and followed up.

• Perform daily quality monitoring activities including product sampling, laboratory testing, and organising taste panel sessions to ensure standards are consistently met.

• Investigate customer complaints, process deviations, and non-conformances, identifying root causes and ensuring corrective and preventative actions are completed.

• Support site food safety by identifying potential risks (foreign body, chemical, microbiological), completing traceability exercises, and assisting during customer audits.

• Manage quality incidents and concessions, ensuring clear communication with operational teams and accurate documentation.

• Monitor site hygiene and compliance through GMP and housekeeping standards across production areas.

• Present and track Technical KPIs (e.g., complaints, GMP performance) in daily meetings and support continuous improvement activities.

Skills & Experience

• Previous QA/QC experience in food manufacturing (essential).

• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC standards, and food safety legislation.

• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coach others and work independently.

• Customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to produce accurate reports and maintain documentation.

• Good IT and systems skills.
