Purchasing Manager

Our client is looking for a Purchasing Manager who’s ready to step up. Not someone coasting, but someone who wants to build, improve, and grow within a business.

This role sits at the heart of a complex manufacturing environment, where supply chain performance really matters. You’ll take ownership of purchasing strategy, supplier relationships, and long-term agreements, with the opportunity to shape how things are done.

You’ll be managing a small team and playing a key role in ensuring materials, contracts, and supply lines are aligned with long-term business goals.

What you’ll be doing as a Purchasing Manager:

* Leading the purchasing function and managing a small team of buyers

* Developing strong supplier relationships within a complex supply chain

* Negotiating long-term agreements and securing favourable contract terms

* Managing risk across suppliers, pricing, and material availability

* Supporting planning and operations with reliable supply strategies

* Continuously improving purchasing processes and performance

What we’re looking for from our Purchasing Manager:

* Experience in purchasing/procurement within aerospace (essential)

* Strong understanding of long lead times and complex supply chains

* Confidence in negotiating contracts and long-term agreements

* A commercial mindset with attention to detail and risk

* Someone ambitious who is looking to grow, not slow down
