Job Title: Purchase Ledger Assistant Location: Halifax Job Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Salary: c.£28,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Description:
Elevation recruitment group are working with a fantastic and ambitious business in Halifax who are continuing to grow and invest in their finance team. They're looking for a Purchase Ledger superstar to join them on an initial 12 month contract to cover a maternity leave. This is a great chance to take real ownership of multiple ledgers and be part of a friendly, supportive finance function that genuinely values what you do.
Key Responsibilities as an Accounts Assistant: Full responsibility for multiple PL ledgers Processing high volume invoices in a fast paced environment Multi currency processing Supplier statement reconciliations Building strong relationships with suppliers Support continuous improvement across Accounts Payable Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience with end to end Purchase management. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Sage. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work within a team.
