We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, servicing, repair and maintenance of our customers pumping equipment. Experience of centrifugal, submersible, booster and pressurisation is essential. Trouble shooting, inspections and repair solutions to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Perform onsite installation, maintenance and repair of various types of pumps in the industrial and domestic market. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and techniques. Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide repair decision. Work independently or part of a team to complete assigned projects efficiently and within deadlines. Working from our PDA system IT literacy to complete jobs and update. Respond to breakdowns and carry out emergency site repairs when necessary. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations whilst at our customers sites. Liaise with department heads to ensure efficient site working. Please note this position cannot consider overseas applications

Basic hours 5 x 10-hour shifts

Monday

Friday 07:00 to 17:00 day shift and some nights, weekday and weekend overtime may be required to cover call outs.

Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, Building Maintenance , or equivalent qualification. Electrical knowledge, safe isolation of both single and 3 phase Proven experience working within the Pump industry. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Valid UK driving licence. Ability to obtain a CRC. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organisational skills. Knowledge of health and safety procedures. It would be desirable to have confined space certification, however training is will be provided.
