This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical, highly organised, and forward-thinking individual to play a central role in the delivery, management, and continuous improvement of public sector procurement frameworks.
About the Role
As a Procurement Associate , you'll support the design, mobilisation, and ongoing management of public sector frameworks and dynamic purchasing systems , ensuring they are compliant, commercially robust, and deliver measurable value to members.
You'll manage end-to-end framework activity-from pre-market engagement and tendering through to contract award, supplier onboarding, and performance management. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and public sector members, you'll help maximise framework utilisation, support member call-offs, and contribute to the continued growth and reputation of their framework portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the development, mobilisation, and ongoing management of public sector procurement frameworks and dynamic markets
Manage compliant sourcing activities, including framework tenders, mini-competitions, and further competitions
Support members in defining requirements, running call-off processes, and applying framework agreements effectively
Draft, formalise, and maintain framework and call-off contract documentation
Build and manage supplier relationships, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
Ensure frameworks remain compliant with public sector procurement regulations and best practice
Monitor commercial, operational, and supplier performance against agreed KPIs
Support framework marketing, communications, and engagement activity to drive uptake and value
Promote our client's corporate values, social value, and ESG commitments
Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across procurement categories
We're seeking someone who is:
Proactive, self-motivated, and delivery-focused
Experienced in public sector procurement and framework management
A strong communicator with the ability to engage confidently with members, suppliers, and stakeholders
Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple framework activities simultaneously
Adaptable and effective in collaborative, evolving environments
Qualifications & Experience
CIPS Level 4 (or working towards) or a relevant degree / equivalent public sector procurement experience
Demonstrable experience delivering or managing public sector procurement frameworks or DPS
Strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations and compliant tendering processes (PCR 2013 / PA 2023)
Experience using e-tendering platforms and managing supplier performance
Strong Excel and data analysis skills (Pivot Tables, reporting; VBA desirable)
Excellent stakeholder engagement, reporting, and presentation skills
Full driving licence desirable
