Join our team as a Project Support Officer
The Project Support Officer provides comprehensive project, systems, and administrative support to the Asset Management Team, contributing to the delivery of individual projects, longer-term investment programmes, and wider asset management processes. The role is integral to the effective operation of theteam, supporting customer communication and consultation to ensure customers are informed, engaged, and able to provide meaningful input into planned works affecting their homes and neighbourhoods.
Key Responsibilities
Provide project and administrative support to the Asset Management Team for individual projects, acting as the first point of contact for enquiries.
Update and maintain systems relating to investment programmes including information gathering to ensure data is up to date and valid.
Facilitating stakeholder engagement meetings - properly coordinated meetings with clear agendas and action points to improve decision-making, accountability, timely task completion, and project advancement.
Support the planning of planned works by liaising with planning and delivery teams.
Provide IT and system support to the Asset Management Team including running reports, programme modelling, system testing, and interrogating data.
Maintain and update the Asset Register, ensuring that correct processes are followed in order to keep data as accurate as possible.
Maintain and manage GIS information for the Asset Management Team.
Administer and support the House Condition inspection and survey process, including EPCs.
Co-ordinate and arrange inspections with both internal and external customers.
Facilitate and attend customer consultation events and projects, including open days and questionnaires.
What youll need to succeed
Proven experience in a project support or administrative role, providing effective support to multiple projects or programmes.
Demonstrated customer-focused experience in a customer service role, managing enquiries and complaints across multiple communication channels, including telephone, email, and face-to-face contact.
Experience in managing project documentation, maintaining accurate records, and supporting basic reporting, including organising meetings and preparing reports.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build strong, productive and professional relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Solution and results focused, and innovative and creative in solving problems
Strong digital and IT skills, with confidence using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive and the wider Microsoft suite.
