Project Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager - Housing Association (North West)\n Salary: Up to £54,000 + benefits\n Location: Agile working - 3 days from home, 2 days on site/office\n\nA leading housing provider is expanding across the North West and seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for their maintenance and voids programmes.\n\nThis is a great opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong social purpose and a collaborative, values-driven culture.\n\nThe Role\n You'll manage the financial and contractual aspects of multiple maintenance and refurbishment projects, leading an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and ensuring best value, accurate cost control and full contractual compliance. You'll work closely with operational teams, contractors and suppliers to drive performance and deliver high-quality outcomes.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOversee all commercial and financial aspects of maintenance and voids projects (£15m-£20m portfolio)\n\nManage subcontractor procurement, payments, variations and final accounts\n\nProvide accurate financial reporting and forecasting\n\nSupport and mentor junior QS staff\n\nCollaborate with project and operational teams to achieve commercial targets\n\nAbout You\n\nDegree/HNC in Quantity Surveying or related discipline\n\nProven experience in social housing, maintenance or refurbishment\n\nStrong commercial and contractual knowledge (NHF Schedule of Rates )\n\nExcellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills\n\nCompetent user of MS Office, particularly Excel\n\nIf you're a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for a flexible, progressive role within a respected housing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.\n\nApply today or get in touch for a confidential conversation
