Project Procurement Co-Ordinator
to join the Supply Chain team at TKMS ATLAS UK. Reporting to the Project Procurement Team Lead, this role supports the delivery of supply chain activities across projects and bids, ensuring suppliers deliver on time, to quality standards and within commercial expectations. Our Supply Chain team works closely with engineering, project management and external suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of complex maritime systems and technologies. This role plays an important part in supporting the company's strategy by ensuring an efficient and resilient supply chain that enables the successful delivery of programmes for the Royal Navy and international customers. What You'll Do
As Project Procurement Co-Ordinator, you will support supply chain activities across projects and bids while working closely with internal teams and external suppliers. The role involves coordinating procurement processes, managing supplier performance and ensuring continuity of supply throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: Supporting supply chain activities for allocated projects and bids including sourcing, quoting and purchase order placement
Assisting with supplier management and monitoring supplier performance
Supporting tendering processes for complex and high-value procurements
Coordinating procurement reporting including subcontract status, risks and performance updates
Assisting with the implementation and management of sub-contracts
Supporting the identification, assessment and mitigation of supply chain risks
Acting as a point of contact for supply chain issues and helping resolve them where possible
Supporting category management activities including contract and performance management
Developing effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who enjoys working in a collaborative project environment. You will likely have: Further education qualification or relevant experience in procurement or supply chain
CIPS qualification or willingness to work towards it
Project coordination or project management skills
Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Experience supporting supplier relationships and supply chain activities
Commercial awareness including understanding of contracts and supplier agreements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
