A leading commercial interior design and fit-out specialist is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver high-quality workplace projects from concept through to completion. The company provides turnkey office design, refurbishment, and fit-out solutions, managing everything from consultation and design to installation across the UK.
With a strong focus on bespoke, people-centric workspaces, this role is key to ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects Act as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate all project stages including consultation, design development, procurement, and installation Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure quality delivery Monitor project budgets, costs, and variations to maintain commercial control Ensure all works are delivered in line with health & safety and compliance standards Lead site meetings, progress reporting, and stakeholder updates Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes Ensure final handover is completed to a high standard, meeting client expectations
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial fit-out, interiors, or construction Strong understanding of office design & build / workplace environments Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills Strong organisational and programme management ability Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and variations Knowledge of construction processes, H&S regulations, and project delivery methods Proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail
