Your new role
About the role
As a Project manager you will work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor, providing the necessary input to allow the Quantity Surveyor to report on the current and projected financial status of the project. Helping develop the projects main logic of works programme, ensure that no work commences on site until health and safety policy and the relevant construction phase plan is in place.
- Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments together with the Safety Plan and to observe the requirement of the CDM Regulations in the status of Principal Contractor
- Provide leadership and support to all Employees
- Manage labour and maintain high productivity
- Expedite materials and information release from design team
- Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Procedure and Manual
- Manage all sub-contractors and supply chain effectively
- Supervise the quality of the works and hand over a snag free building
What we need from you
You’ll already be qualified to Degree level in Construction or Civil Engineering or have a trade background within construction. With demonstratable leadership & management experience within the construction industry or housebuilding sector. Ability to supervise projects from inception to completion, whilst exemplifying our commitment to Health & Safety, and ensuring quality and best practice will be second nature to you.
