Project Manager – Acoustic Enclosures & Heavy Fabrication
The Opportunity
We’re recruiting an experienced Project Manager to oversee live acoustic enclosure and heavy fabrication projects within a well-established UK engineering and manufacturing business. This is a hands-on, site-based role, working closely with engineering, fabrication and production teams to deliver technically complex projects from order through to completion.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating all stages of delivery, maintaining clear communication with clients and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and sits within the wider management team.
The Role
This position is central to project delivery and client satisfaction. You’ll act as the main link between customers, engineering and the shop floor, ensuring specifications are understood, risks are managed early and work progresses smoothly through each stage.
Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple live projects, overseeing delivery from order receipt through fabrication, assembly and installation
*
Build and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating engineering, procurement, production and installation activities
*
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear, confident updates throughout the project lifecycle
*
Identify risks early, resolve issues proactively and keep projects moving without disruption
*
Ensure quality, safety and delivery standards are maintained across all project stages
*
Take full ownership of project outcomes, driving a practical, right-first-time approach to delivery
What We’re Looking For
*
10+ years’ proven project management experience within fabrication, steelwork, mechanical engineering or similar technical environments
*
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
*
Confident communicator who can build trust with clients, engineers, suppliers and production teams
*
Practical, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to stay composed under pressure
*
Collaborative leadership style, working closely with others to achieve consistent, high-quality outcomes
*
A genuine pride in delivering quality work and a positive experience for customers and colleagues
