A highly regarded construction consultancy based in Birmingham is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple commercial and office fit-out projects across the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join a dynamic and well-structured team working on schemes ranging from £2m to £30m.\n\nThe Project Manager will take full ownership of several key client accounts, delivering complex workplace and office schemes through all RIBA stages. This role is well suited to a commercially aware Project Manager with a consultancy background and strong communication skills.\n\nThe Project Manager's role\n\nThe Project Manager will be responsible for managing design teams, client engagement, and contractor performance from pre-contract to handover.

Duties include:\n\nDelivering Cat A and Cat B office fit-outs and commercial refurbishments\n\nPreparing key project documents including reports, contracts, and risk registers\n\nLeading stakeholder meetings and managing expectations\n\nAdministering JCT contracts and overseeing procurement\n\nMonitoring programme and quality on-site\n\nProviding technical and strategic input across multiple live schemes\n\nThe Project Manager\n\nThe successful Project Manager will have:\n\nA construction-related degree (Project Management, QS, Building Surveying, etc.)\n\nConsultancy-side experience delivering commercial or workplace projects\n\nProven ability to lead projects independently\n\nStrong knowledge of JCT contracts and pre-contract processes\n\nProgress toward MRICS or MAPM (or already chartered)\n\nIn Return?\n\n£45,000 - £55,000\n\nPerformance-based bonus\n\n26 days holiday + bank holidays\n\nFlexible hybrid working (office, site & home)\n\nCPD funding and chartership mentoring\n\nPrivate healthcare and pension contributions\n\nKeywords: Project Manager | Birmingham | Commercial Fit-Out | Office Refurbishment | Construction Consultancy | JCT Contracts
