Purpose of this role The Projects Manager Strategic Projects will lead and manage a portfolio of strategic projects within the Strategic Projects PMO across three complexity tiers, with their portfolio consisting of a mix of:
High Complexity Projects
Full end-to-end project management responsibility.
Own planning, delivery, governance, and benefits tracking.
Direct engagement with sponsors and business leads for critical decisions.
Medium Complexity Projects
Act as a delivery partner to the business lead.
Provide structured support: planning, RAID management, governance packs, and coaching.
Ensure adherence to programme standards and escalate risks/issues.
Low Complexity Projects
Primarily focused on visibility and reporting for the Senior management team.
