Project Manager Power Generation

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Project Engineering Manager to report to the Engineering Manager of a Power Station in Maidstone, Kent

This role will involve developing the project management process overall & improving the way in which the team works.

As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Working in a lead role handing multiple plant upgrades worth from £200k to £2m
  • Project Managing plant improvements to maximise long term availability
  • Developing the sites Maintenance Management System
  • Driving improvements through root cause analysis & process development
  • Working on-site Monday to Friday in a days based position
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Knowledge of steam turbines, generators, pressure systems etc
  • 5 years experience in Power, Energy from Waste or similar heavy industry
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Excellent organisational, planning & communication skills
  • Team player who can act in a Lead role when required

The offer:

The package on offer for this role includes a salary up to £65,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits including bonus, car or car allowance, pension etc.
